IPL
IPL stands for Intense Pulsed Light, as it can be
understood from its name, it is an intense light
that it is effective as much as laser but it is
aimed to have less side effects than laser. This
medial technology, the filtered light is applied to
the skin with crystal sapphire heads. While it
provides improvement in capillaries (with the effect
of branding the functionless veins), it also
reorganizes the pigments with the similar heating
effect and provides improvement in blemishes.
The basic principle in photodamaged skins is 3-4
sessions in 3-4 week intervals. However, local
treatment can continue in capillary and blemish
treatment. At the end of this treatment increase in
hyaluronic acid level of the skin, increase in the
gel layer in which new cells start to live, increase
in moisture, regularity in collagen and elastic
lymphs and a firmer and intense skin are aimed.
Moreover, diseases diminishing the skin protection
such as rosacea, flushing (blushing intervals are
within the application area of IPL treatment. It can
be applied three times every year.
